Created by Tina Fey and loosely based on her experiences as the head writer for Saturday Night Live, 30 ROCK follows fictional variety show creator Liz Lemon (Fey) as she wrangles a huge cast of characters at work while trying and failing to live her own life on the side. Liz struggles to follow aspirational business advice from her gravel-voiced boss Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) while satisfying the endless demands of her stars Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) and Jenna Maroney (Jane Krakowski), but she never gives up on her dreams of having it all. The series co-starred Judah Friedlander, Jack McBrayer, Scott Adsit, Keith Powell, John Lutz, Kevin Brown and Grizz Chapman and featured an impressive list of guest stars including Elaine Stritch, Matt Damon, Elizabeth Banks, Jon Hamm, Carrie Fischer and Steve Martin.
30 ROCK aired on NBC from 2006 to 2013 and was nominated for 112 total Emmy Awards during its run, the most of any comedy series in Emmy history.
